La Leche League (LLL) is a voluntary organisation which provides information and support to women who want to breastfeed their babies.

They help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.

We were delighted to take part by exhibiting the AMEDA Breast Pump range at the 2 day conference where we met with a broad spectrum of people from mothers to lactation consultants, midwives etc.

We also held a raffle for a Luxury Hamper of goodies (mostly chocolate!!) and congratulations to the winner Orla Dolan from Cootehill in Co Cavan.

Orla who is currently on maternity leave is a Public Health Nurse based in the Cavan / Monaghan area.
